Is the Rehearsal included in the Officiating Service?
No. Our presence at the Rehearsal is optional. However, there are some venues that may require our presence. Either way, a Rehearsal is an additional fee.
How do I avail of your Officiating Service?
Contact us and we'd love to meet you by phone, Skype, or in person. When you decide to move forward with us (which is very likely after meeting us and seeing all our reviews on WeddingWire) we will send you an electronic Agreement and Invoice via HoneyBook. A retainer fee secures your date and time, paid securely online, and the balance is paid on or before two weeks of the Wedding Day.
What is Wedwordy?
Upon completion of the Agreement, we will send you a link to Wedwordy - the wedding ceremons script app! We are the proud creators of this app, which is a fabulous resource for couples wishing to write their own wedding ceremony. With 8 templates to get you started, 16 ceremony elements you can add, omit, rearrange, and over 80 beautiful passages that are fully editable, you can personalize your wedding words. We will work with you to further revise and refine your ceremony so it is ready for the big day!
What types of Ceremonies do you perform?
All faiths, all cultural traditions, all personalities, all partnerships, all sizes (of guests attending). And because we are "Weddings & Events", we also preside over Baby Blessings, House Blessings, and Funerals and Remembrance Ceremonies.
Where do I go to obtain a Marriage License?
You will need to make an appointment with the County Clerk's Office within 90 days of when the ceremony will be performed. The County from which you obtain the Marriage License does not have to be in the same county of your Wedding. Our job as the Officiant is to direct your Witnesses (1-2) on the day of the Wedding Ceremony to fill out their portions correctly! The folks at the County Clerk are very meticulous and will send it back to us and charge us an extra fee to re-do if we incur an error during the signing. We will complete our portion, scan you a copy, and email the original Marriage License document to the County to process. You will NEED to order your official copy(ies) from the County Clerk - they will not automatically send to you.

ELOPEMENTS
What are your Elopement services?
Elopements used to be a spontaneous dash to the chapel sparked by an overwhelming rush of true love! But no more. Now, elopements - still motivated by true love - are often planned ahead. Whether it's for just the two of you, or for the two of you and you plus 50, we can help you in bringing your celebration together. We will coordinate our in-house services and other vendors as per your vision, budget, and approval. This makes it easy and convenient for you! With us as the liaison, we collaborate with you and coordinate with the vendors - planning a wedding means executing a beautiful Wedding Day!
But if you give us a call the night before, and say, "Reverend Tan, we need an officiant and harpist for tomorrow - we're eloping - really eloping!" By golly, we'll do whatever it takes to make it happen in the name of TRUE LOVE!
