What should I expect ​from a Full Service Vendor?


FULL SERVICE FLORIST

  • Deliver, set up and take-down all florals
  • If take-down is not needed, client must have a plan for taking home leftover florals and returning rentals from the florist
  • Move large, high, difficult floral pieces during the event -- this includes florals that need to be taken apart and remade 
  • Provide own ladders and installation tools and staff

FULL SERVICE CAKERY

  • Deliver and set up cake/desserts -- cake/desserts must be placed where it will be displayed for the event 
  • Provide rentals needed for cake/dessert display or arrange for rentals from another company
  • Inform TWE of any additional plates, forks, napkins or other tableware needed for guests to go with the desserts
  • Place fresh florals from florist on the cake, unless otherwise arranged with florist 

FULL SERVICE DJ, BAND, & MUSICIANS

  • Provide own equipment, including tables, linens, chairs needed.
  • Provide EmCee services throughout the event
  • Provide sound equipment needed for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, including additional systems, if needed for the venue spaces
  • Provide lapel mics for the officiant and at least one of the wedding couple for ceremony
  • Provide a handheld, wireless mic for ceremony readers and reception toasters
  • Be responsible for all announcements, games, introductions, music 

FULL SERVICE CATERER

  • Provide all food for cocktail hour and reception 
  • If an additional specialty food vendor must be brought in, caterer will coordinate the details with the specialty food, including set-up, service, and if additional rentals are needed
  • Provide full-service bartender, unless bartender is provided by the venue
  • Ensure that number of staff for food (and bar, if applicable) are sufficient for the number of guests
  • Deliver rentals and linens (when applicable) to the venue
  • Provide service: set-up and take-down of linens & tableware, pour water at tables, bus all spaces with tableware, clean up all tables at the end of the event
  • Depending on the venue, take all trash at the end of the night. Monitor trash throughout the event and replace trash liners, as needed
  • Provide cake cutting service
  • Store leftover cake/food in containers and deliver to the client at the end of the night
  • If in charge of bar, deliver leftover alcohol to client at the end of the night
  • Provide self-serve water station at welcome area at the beginning of the event and coffee service after dessert is served
  • In the rare case of a food truck or caterer who does not provide full-service (must be pre-approved by TWE), client will be required to hire a staffing company for set-up, bussing, water service, take-down to begin 3 hours prior to the event and end 1 hour after the event, and to include a banquet captain.
