There are weddings that we walk away from that leave us smiling for days! This was one of those weddings. Cat and Cliff had such a warm and friendly energy that made one feel like family. They chose ceremony words that reflected their all-encompassing love. I had greeted their family and friends with a blessing rooted in Buddhist faith that reminded everyone to let love be the guide in all we do, every day, and when we radiate that kind of love, then all of us will lead lives in abundance and delight. This was a couple that were committed to each other, and to the world around them. Their hearts were big enough, humble enough, to know that our connectedness is what true love is all about. It is no wonder that after concluding the ceremony, after a selfie with the coupe, and after waving good-bye, I drove home feeling grateful, smiling for days.
