 “We are partners and colleagues and friends and lovers,” declared Laurie and Alfonse, of their relationship, adding, “and into French Art Nouveau!” It inspired their planners Rick and Jennifer Tan of Tan Weddings & Events to create an event that was sweet and soulful, romantic and joyful. After visiting some venues in Napa and Sonoma with their planners, the couple chose Silverado Resort & Spa. Its sprawling manicured lawns, luxe accommodations, and top notch catering offered the perfect setting for hosting their guests - colleagues and friends and families. The mansion was designed and built over 150 years ago with touches of Italian and French architecture, which resonated with the couple’s aesthetic. A favorite poster the couple owned by Art Nouveau painter Alfonse Mucha provided the color palette and the spirit of the event. Florals by Flourish Designs were lush, whimsical, and colorful. The signage and paperie by Nikisha King Design House was en pointe with gold tool line motifs. But it was the soul of the couple - their genuine love, sense of gratitude, humor, fun, and flair that radiated to make their celebration magnifique!
