Libby & Dan's elopement vision included redwood trees and California! The couple flew out from Chicago to experience a romantic, intimate ceremony, followed by an adventurous honeymoon to Yosemite, Tahoe, and Napa. The fun did not stop there as the couple continued their wedding celebration with a reception back home where they shared their photos and video with family and friends.
Being a wedding photographer herself, Libby has an eye for beauty and detail. The couple stayed the night in a magical treehouse in the Santa Cruz mountains and brought with them pretty vow booklets, custom engraged wood watch gifts, and flower petal poppers. The bride's lovely BHLDN dress and shimmery Birkenstocks fit right into the woodland theme. Our team thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this blissful day! From hiking into the woods to meet the couple at their treehouse, to walking among the tall redwoods at Henry Cowell State Park to find the perfect ceremony spot, we all felt honored to be a part of such a special event. A tiered sweetheart cake, luscious florals with our plant-dyed silk ribbons, and a pretty up-do, along with captivating photos and video, our vendor team was ecstatic about every detail. To say that this elopement was perfect is an understatement -- the love between these two was so evident during their custom vows, we had a hard time not shedding tears!
