 Shannon and Carl’s wedding day marked a honeymoon of epic proportions. (We’ll get back to wedding day momentarily.) Deftly managing their work schedules and resources, the newlyweds were able to take a year traveling the world! At the time of this writing, the couple was at Salar De Uyuni in Bolivia, Day 59, according to their FaceBook travelogue. Previous to that, they have explored Machu Picchu, Peru. Who knows where our intrepid newlyweds will be next! Wedding day at Park Winters in Winters, CA, could have been a simple send-off for Shannon and Carl, focusing their energy on the trip ahead. Instead, it was a celebration of togetherness, of family and friends, done up in style and fabulousness. Coordinated by Tan Weddings & Events, the team of creatives were attentive to the little details with subtle yet impactful styling touches: wine bottle vases that indicated guest seating, the bridal bouquet that played on a tight palette yet its textures and vibrancy reads bold, or the masterfully-presented appetizers that were architectural and delectable. If a sunset foretold of the couple’s honeymoon journey, it was the one magnificently captured by photographer Vicens Forns. Rain had threatened the weekend, but instead, a glorious sky of cumulonimbus clouds rallied to provide a backdrop that only nature, in its majesty, could create - it was a sneak peak into the amazing places that our newlyweds would begin their life adventure together.
