 Shradha and Ivan wanted to honor Shradha’s Indian heritage and Ivan’s Mexican heritage in their celebration, and we loved working with them to make this vision a reality! The couple was conscientious about their family and friends, who they knew wanted a safe, fun outdoor celebration as event restrictions began to relax. They decided to keep the guest count lower than they originally planned and focus on a meaningful ceremony with Indian rituals, stunning florals, and custom desserts for their guests. Their intimate wedding at The Maples in Woodland was an amazing day! A Gorgeous Venue The Maples in Woodland is a gorgeous estate that is perfect for weddings. The classic 1930’s ranch house has been fully renovated and has a bridal suite, groom’s suite, and a full commercial kitchen. The land is perfectly maintained and sits on 55 acres. Couples can choose from a few different options for their ceremony, so they can really customize their event! Intimate Wedding at The Maples in WoodlandTheir ceremony took place on their main lawn with a beautiful Chinese pistache tree as their backdrop. Bright orange, peach, and burgundy flowers were hung from the arch, and the colorful fabric added the perfect accent. The aisle featured pink and red flowers in a swirled pattern. The ceremony featured traditional Indian events, including the Var Agaman, which is when the groom is introduced, and Varmala, the flower ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple walked around the grounds with their photographer, Hailey Ayson, to take beautiful sunset portraits. The light really captured the beautiful gold sparkle in Shradha's lehenga. They then had dinner at home with the immediate family. Due to travel restrictions, most of Ivan’s family could not come from Mexico, and the couple is planning a second celebration there next year! We’re so happy they’ll get to have that celebration with Ivan’s family, and we’re grateful that we got to work with them here on their intimate wedding at The Maples in Woodland.
