Taylar and Cameron originally wanted to elope with a small group in the redwood grove in Davis. Upon seeing that the creek was under construction, the couple began chatting with our team about the idea of moving the event to Villa De Nardi, and before we knew it, we had a ceremony and reception planned within weeks for 40 people! Villa De Nardi ended up being the perfect space for the guests, with the garden for the ceremony, and dinner under the lights on the main reception space. Gold flecked doughnuts, handcrafted place cards, vintage tableware, and lush florals made for gorgeous summer nuptials and some of the prettiest tablescapes we've ever seen! A quick timeline for creating this exquisite day allowed the couple to be able to adventure together overseas as needed, wherever the groom's miltary station would take him. The amazing photographer moved the timeline to accommodate photos and dinner as the sun went down to combat the summer heat. Finishing off the evening with their first dance, the couple and their guests talked the night away, and then headed into Sacramento for an after party! We wish this couple so much love and happiness as they continue on their adventurous paths together around the world. PHOTOGRAPHY | Melissa Babasin Photography
